Randy Shannon delivered good news on Wednesday when he addressed Jason Fox's injury status.

"We got great news with (Jason) Fox," Shannon said. "It was his ankle. Everyone thought it was his knee but it was his ankle. He should be walking around tomorrow. We put him in a soft cast and he should be ready for the (Virginia Tech) game."

* In other injury news, Shannon said he expects both Javarris James and Chris Rutledge, two players who came out of the Virginia game due to injury, to play against Virginia Tech next week.

"Javarris James is fine," he said. "I think Chris Rutledge came out. He's fine."

This year's team is a lot better, health-wise, than last year's team at this time. Shannon likes where the team's at from an health standpoint right now.

"We're pretty much healthy right now," he said. "You're gonna get nicks and bumps and bruises but we're fine. We just gotta keep those guys moving every week."
