Brian Asbury chipped in with 13 points off the bench. The senior forward converted three of his four three-pointers and did some work in the paint as well. Asbury collected six rebounds and had two blocks and a steal.
Sophomore Edwin Rios struggled with his shooting in his second start in place of the injured Lance Hurdle. The lefty point guard went 1-6 from the field including a 0-2 performance from three point range. Rios did pick up seven assists and four rebounds but he also committed four turnovers. The Miami native will need to step up his game in the absence of Hurdle.

Taking an 11 point lead into the locker room at half time, Miami made some adjustments and were able to increase their lead and pull away for the 33 point victory.
