A: They are the biggest test, but Coach Hurtt has us ready to go.
Q: How do you deal with Virginia Tech's size on offense?
A: We're big and physical up front, too. We're real physical up front. They run a lot, and we like that. We pass rush, but in the run game I think we do the best out of the ACC.
Q: Do you like going against a big line like that?
A: I like teams that run the ball. I'm very excited about that. It's a good challenge.
Q: Do you hope you can push through to the ACC title game?
A: We all have the same record. We have to take it game by game, day by day. Every game is a playoff game right now. We just have to take it one game at a time. We have to win. It ain't no secret. We're hungry, so we have to win.
Q: Are you surprised how well the true freshmen are playing?
A: To see Marcus Forston come in, he's helping us big. And Sean , Jacory. All those young guys are doing good things. They are great players. Its amazing to have thme help so fast.
Q: How is your health? At this point last year you had some knee problems.
A: I feel good, have energy. My knee's not messing with me, my back's not messing with me.
Q: Virginia Tech had a 200-yard rusher last game. How o you stop him?
A: He's big, is 6-1, 250. We have to tackle, wrap up. We need to gang tackle.
Q: What do you think about having a Thursday night game?
A: We're the only show in town. The whole country can see us play, so that's a good thing. I am excited about it.
Q: Last year Virginia Tech scored 44 points against your defense.
A: Last year when we played them half the defense was hurt. We had a lot of young guys playing. This year everyone's healthy on the defense. That will help us. We will not let that happen again.
