State playoffs involving UM recruits

The state playoffs kicked off in the state of Florida on Friday night and several University of Miami recruits were in action. Read on to see what happened.

Jamal Reid's team (1A) lost.

Jared Wheeler's team (2A) lost.

Kayvon Webster's team (3A) won.
Mike James's team (3A) won.

Luther Robinson's team (4A) won.
Orson Charles's team (4A) won.

Stephen Plein's team (5A) lost (he wasn't playing).

Lamar Miller's team (6A) won.
Antwan Lowery's team (6A) lost.
Denard Robinson's team (6A) won.
Brandon McGee's team (6A) lost.
The Seminole Trio's team (6A) won.

Olivier Vernon and Lawrence Henderson play for teams who did not make the playoffs.

That means nine seniors who have offers from Miami will still be playing next week.
