UM's Week 12 NFL standouts

The University of Miami has more players on NFL rosters than any other college program in America. Week 12 saw a lot of former Hurricanes have strong performances.

1. Ed Reed - Baltimore Ravens Safety (vs. Philadelphia)
Set a new NFL record with a 108-yard INT return for a touchdown; also had another 43-yard INT return

2. Clinton Portis – Washington Redskins Running Back (vs. Seattle)
Reached the 100-yard mark for the sixth time this season, going for 143 yards on 29 carries vs. Seattle

3. Rocky McIntosh – Washington Redskins Linebacker (vs. Seattle)
Finished with a team-high seven tackles (all solo) and recorded his first INT of the season

4. Andre Johnson – Houston Texans Wide Receiver (vs. Cleveland)
Recorded his fifth 10+ catch, 100+ yard day (10 for 116) in win over the Browns

5. Brandon Meriweather – New England Patriots Safety (vs. Miami)
Recorded five total tackles (four solo, one assist) and his fourth INT of the season in win over Miami

6. Jon Beason – Carolina Panthers Linebacker (vs. Atlanta)
Had a team-high eight total tackles (seven solo) - his ninth game with seven or more tackles

7. Kenny Phillips – New York Giants Safety (vs. Arizona)
Had a team-high seven total tackles (all solo) in road win against the Cardinals

8. Devin Hester - Chicago Bears Wide Receiver (vs. St. Louis)
Led the Bears with five catches for 57 yards; Also carried the ball twice for 32 yards

9. Leon Williams - Cleveland Browns Linebacker (vs. Houston)
Finished with seven total tackles (six solo, one assist) - his highest total this season

10. Vince Wilfork – New England Patriots Defensive Tackle (vs. Miami)
Had four total tackles (all solo) and played a big part in holding the Dolphins to just 62 rushing yards

11. Santana Moss – Washington Redskins Wide Receiver (vs. Seattle)
Led the Redskins air attack, pulling in four balls for 72 yards in win over the Seahawks

12. Phillip Buchanon - Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cornerback (vs. Detroit)
Had two tackles (both solo) and forced a fumble in win over the Lions

13. Damione Lewis - Carolina Panthers Defensive Tackle (vs. Atlanta)
Recorded four total tackles (all solo) and a sack in road loss against the Falcons

14. Bryant McKinnie - Minnesota Vikings Left Tackle (vs. Jacksonville)
Paved the way for 122 rushing yards in Minnesota's 30-12 road win at Jacksonville

15. Antrel Rolle – Arizona Cardinals Defensive Back (vs. New York Giants)
Reached the four-tackle mark for the ninth straight game, recording six solo stops against New York
