Florida WR makes commitment

Eric Williams is a three-star wide receiver prospect from Bradenton (Fla.) Manatee and he informed Scout.com this morning that he's made his college decision.

"I committed to Purdue," Eric Williams said this morning.

Williams, 5-foot-11 and 195 pounds, is one of the faster wide receiver prospects around and landed several scholarship offers throughout the process. Some of the other schools he strongly considered were Nebraska, South Florida, and Ole Miss.

Williams, who took an official visit to Purdue back in mid-December, has a visit set to Ole Miss for next weekend.

"I don't know yet," he responded when asked if he still plans on taking that trip.

The Boilermakers have done an excellent job of landing several three star players from Florida this season and Williams is the latest one.

Stay tuned for more on this later, as it'll be interesting to see whether or not he goes through with his original plans to visit Ole Miss this coming weekend.
