"Miami's next on my list," Moncur said. "After that, I'm going to Florida State and then Georgia. By then, I'll know for sure what I'm going to do."
Moncur made an official visit to Ohio State this past weekend.
"That went pretty good," he said. "It was a lot like N.C. State. They have a good thing going on and I liked it. I went up there with Ali. I'll take a few more of those and see what happens."
The standout defensive end plans to make a mid week visit to FSU and a weekend visit to Georgia.
"I still like UM," he said. "But I'm not ready to commit just yet. I'll have to see how my other visits go. Coach Shannon knows that."
Moncur said he likes the opportunity he sees at UM.
"They need some defensive ends and I think I can help," he said. "Starting as a true freshman or playing a lot isn't a big deal because they will play the best players and I'll need to become one of them. I just want a chance."
The standout defensive end said he continues keeping close tabs on another top prospect -- Joe Cohen.
"Like I said before, he's the best player I've ever gone up against and I'm still trying to see what he's going to do," he said. "I know he visited FSU and I think he visits Miami next weekend. I'll have to see what he's thinking."
