Johnson: I'm taking more pride in it

Aldarius Johnson had a solid freshman season and he's gearing up for a bigger year this season. Read on to see what he was saying after the first week of practice.

On the WR group having a year of experience:
That's a big difference. We've known each other for a year. We know each other's tendancies and everything. We help each other out when watching film, what to work on, what to do to get better. It's really great for us.

On Jacory having more zip on the ball:
He's still the same, just stronger, that's it.

On the competition at WR:
That's gonna make us come out every day and compete and work hard. We're getting better by competing with each other.

On the scrimmage tomorrow:
Really it's to see who does better, who makes big plays, who executes blocks, and things like that.

On the scrimmage being treated differently:
They just come back and give us feedback on what we need to work on. They treat it like a game situation.

On his biggest improvement:
My routes, coming in and out of my breaks, and blocking.

On blocking:
I'm taking more pride in it than I did last year.

On working with anyone over the summer like Mark Duper:
No.
