Telemaque sees team really growing up

Vaughn Telemaque is considered one of the starters at safety and he talked about a number of things after practice on Monday morning.

On the lack of picks last season:
There's gonna be great things out of this secondary, the whole defense. It's gonna be very exciting, like you wanna see in Miami.

On any standouts in the secondary:
The whole group. The young guys are really focused and the young guys know what they wanna do. The linebacker corps and the defensive line, we're all coming together as a team and that's how we focus.

On moving guys around:
We mostly focus on what position we're assigned to and try to perfect that before we move on to anything else.

On Jacory Harris:
He's looking excellent. I'm really excited and happy for him. Along with his wide receiver corps, his offensive line, and his running backs, that's an exciting offense. We get a great look every day in practice.

On the big receivers:
You better believe those guys are ready. They're coming out and practicing hard every day. That's something you get a feel for now then going into the game it'll be that much easier.

On the mindset of the team:
The mindset is people are just growing up. We're ready to go out and show everyone what we got. The leaders, it's a great group of guys ready to lead who have been through the ups and downs and showing us the bigger picture is winning and going onto being a great Miami team.

On his improvements:
I'm feeling good about (knowing) the defense. I read defenses better. Day by day, I'm practicing and wanna get better at certain things. I'll say using my strength better on jams, trying to read the linemen. I just try to use all my tools that I have.
