"Miami was real nice," Pittman said. "It seems like a great place to spend my next four years. I was real impressed by the whole program."
The standout defensive end said he's narrowed his list down to five schools and he's growing tired of the recruiting process.
"Like I told you that one day, nobody is going to know where I'm going," he said. "That's between me and the coaches recruiting me. Everyone will know on signing day. I have a lot of hard choices to look at because they're all great places."
Pittman is referring to the five schools on his final list of favorites -- Miami, Florida State, LSU, Texas, and Michigan. He knows what he likes about Miami.
"They need some defensive ends and some of them will get a chance to play right away," he said. "It's a good situation for a player at my position. I liked what I saw with the players and coaches too. Miami's definitely near the top of my list."
Pittman was asked if he's favoring any of the schools on his list.
"No, I'm really not," he said. "I might have an idea but I'm going to wait. It'll be next Wednesday."
Pittman plans on going to college together with teammate Vegas Franklin.
