Bowe Making Final Decision

Miami (Fla.) Norland standout wide receiver Dwayne Bowe took his final visit of the season this past weekend when he went to LSU.

"Louisiana [State] was fun," Bowe said. "It's tight up there -- I like it. They did a good job of making me feel like I was at home. They've been recruiting me hard from the beginning and never eased up. They made me like one of their priorities."

The standout receiver said he's narrowed his list down to LSU and Miami.

"It's still the same ones," he said. "I got to pick one of them by Wednesday -- that's when I'm going to sign everything and make it official. I like them both right now. I'm not even sure what I'm going to do yet, I'm still open."

Bowe did talk more about the Hurricanes.

"Miami's tight," he said. "It's close to home here and I know some of the cats out there. There's a good atmosphere at UM and they need some receivers. Dre's gone and they're going to need to replace him. I think I can go in and do it."

Bowe said there's one thing he definitely plans on doing his first year.

"I definitely want to play," he said. "I never started playing football till my junior year and as soon as I started, I haven't been able to stop. Practice, games, all-star games, just throwing it around the street, everything. It's been non-stop for me and that is how I want it to continue. And I think I can play early at either school."

So is Bowe ready to give any hints into what he might be thinking at this point in the process?

"If I knew, I'd done told you by now," he said. "The coaches at LSU want me there and the coaches at UM want me there. I'm going to think it all over and sign with someone on Wednesday."
