Berry talks about waiting his turn

Read on to see what running back Damien Berry was saying following Miami's 52-17 win over Virginia on Saturday.

On his increased role lately:
I'm just trying to be the all around best I can be for the team. Whatever helps the team win games, that's what I'm gonna do.

On beating UVA:
The coaches emphasized starting fast. We tried to start fast. We were just trusting the coaches and doing what it takes to get it done.

On waiting his turn:
Basically I had to be patient and wait for God to open doors that nobody can close.

On his hard running style:
I just put my mind to it, think about what all we went through in the summertime and everything we're trying to get through now.

On preferring a big hit or a long TD:
Whatever helps my team. I'd rather have a big hit. I thought I had one. I'd rather have a big hit but our defense will do what it needs to do.

On his approach carrying the ball:
I'm not worried about getting hit. I get the ball, see what the front is, and don't worry about anything else.
