"Coach Whipple and Coach Hill stopped by," Morris said. "We just talked about how the school is, life at UM. Everything was all chill, real nice."
Morris, 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, is very impressed with Whipple.
"He really knows quarterbacks and how to coach," he said. "I know he is going to coach me hard and I'm gonna become a better man and QB because of him."
Morris also talked about what he's been doing since the season ended.
"I've been working out, getting my classes right," he said. "I'm took English online, getting my academics done so I can just relax during the break. I'm just waiting for the OK to start early at Miami."
Morris talked about the impact Coach Whipple and Randy Shannon have made on the program.
"Everything, the way the program changed," he said. "Coach Whipple and Coach Shannon changed the program around. It is an up and coming program."
The talented QB prospect had a chance to watch Miami's bowl game against Wisconsin last week.
"It was frustrating to watch. I've been to the practices and we looked good. We couldn't get much done. I know Jacory was feeling pain. I don't know what it was but he wasn't the same."
Morris is already excited about becoming a Hurricane for the 2010 season.
"Again, we got a tough schedule the first few games," he said. "We will do good, we will do fine. We will use the same offensive scheme and be good."
Morris says he's done with the recruiting process and took just one official visit this year -- to Miami.
"I took mine to Miami a few weeks ago. It was good to chill with the players. I got to look at the whole school and chill with the coaches. My parents got to meet everyone so it was good."
