Graham goes in Round 3

Jimmy Graham became the first Miami player selected in the 2010 NFL Draft when the New Orleans Saints picked him with the 95th overall pick in round three.

Tight end Jimmy Graham was the first Hurricane selected in this year's draft. The defending Super Bowl champions selected him, where he'll go in and compete with former Cane Jeremy Shockey.

Graham, 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds, only played football for one season at Miami. He spent his first few years on Miami's basketball team before making the switch before his senior season.

Graham made a quick adjustment. He finished the season with 17 catches for 213 yards and five touchdowns. It's Graham's athletic ability, however, that catches people's attention.

At the NFL Combine several weeks ago Graham ran a 4.56/40 and had a 38.5-inch vertical jump. He's considered one of the most athletic tight ends in this year's draft class.

Graham, who was the fifth tight end taken in this year's draft, may not be the only Hurricane tight end selected. Dedrick Epps is on the draft radar as well.
