Day 4: Brandon Linder

Brandon Linder was a five-star recruit last year and now he's getting adjusted to college life. Read on to see everything he was saying following Sunday's practice.

On fall camp:
Camp's going great. It's just a real grind but it's all good to learn new stuff and playing out here. The difference from high school to college is the speed. Being out here, I'm getting used to it.

On not coming for spring:
I don't think it hurts. You just have to learn more and be on top of your stuff. The guys coming in early, they get to go through the installations of the playbook and stuff and get out here and feel the game speed.

On playing center:
I like it a lot. I'll do whatever to help the team. I played center, guard, and tackle in high school.

On his goals:
Just getting better, continue learning, and keep grinding with the boys.

On who he's snapping to:
I'll snapping to Whipple and Stephen Morris. It's going good right now, getting to know each other and getting the sequence, the timing and stuff, down.

On full pads tomorrow:
This is going full speed right now. Even without shoulder pads we were going full speed so I don't think it'll be different at all.

On getting adjusted:
The first practice is like oh __ and then you get adjusted and start getting better and better.

On today:
I think we did a great job. We really worked together and I think we did a great job today.

On being in college now:
It's very different. You have classes. You gotta be on top of your stuff because you have the coaches on you. The whole team aspect is different, more togetherness because you're living with each other.

On the adjustment:
Of course, it's college football but being at St. Thomas helped me transition into here.

On Randy Shannon:
Great guy. You can go talk to him and he's a great guy.

On Jermaine Barton:
He's doing good. He had surgery and he's on crutches but he's coming along. He's studying and all that.
