Day 13: Sean Spence

Sean Spence is one of the team's starting outside linebackers and you can read on to see everything he was saying after Friday's practice.

On his body maturing:
I have been with coach Swasey for three years now and my body is more mature. I am almost grown man, getting there.

On how he feels:
I haven't felt this good since I came here. We had a great off-season workout this year. I just feel good and being older and being in the system and knowing what's going on helps you a lot.

On playing hurt vs Clemson:
It was very tough. I wanted to help my team the best way I can but at the playing hurt. I learn from my mistakes.

On how the team has improved:
I'll say we matured and the leadership. We have a lot of guys speaking out of both sides of the ball. Everybody is growing up out here. We have a good mix of juniors and seniors and that is going to pay off in the end.

On what he's improved on:
I think on everything. The run defense, the pass defense, tackling, coverage, everything. I did everything to help my team.

On LB's being underrated:
You could say that but we know what we can do. We all believe in each other. We are out there helping each other every day.
