Mark Anderson will be setting up visits in the near future to a number of schools he's considering.

Last week, Anderson told RedHawk Insider that he has set up a visit with the Miami RedHawks. "I'm coming down (to Oxford) on the 28th (of August)," said Anderson. The visit coincided with Miami's nationally televised (ESPNU) football game with Vanderbilt. Anderson briefly spoke with RedHawk Insider and stated that he was enjoying himself, liked the campus, and was loved the atmosphere. Anderson is a 6'8", 215 pound forward from Dayton, Ohio. As a freshman at National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II Sinclair Community College in Dayton, he was the nation's scoring leader averaging with 25.8 points per game. He also was the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) leader in rebounding at 9.3 rebounds per game.

For his efforts, Anderson was named the 2008 OCCAC player of the year and was voted NJCAA second team Division II All-American.

Anderson recently told RedHawk Insider, "I am a legit 3 and can play the 2 or the 1 even. I am very athletic and can pretty much do everything well."

Anderson has been offered by Cleveland State and Miami. Ohio was also considering an offer to Anderson. He has also received interest from West Virginia, Marshall, and Kentucky. RedHawk Insider hopes to get information from Mr. Anderson on his visit soon!
