Although the Miami RedHawks are still hunting for additional players in the class of 2011, the coaching staff is still keeping an eye on underclassmen as well. One such underclassman in the class of 2012 is center Eric Weisenbach.

Recently, Weisenbach spoke with RedHawk Insider about his game and recruitment.

RedHawk Insider.: Tell us a little about yourself?

WEISENBACH: I am Eric Weisenbach. I am 6'11" and 195 pounds. I am a junior at Dublin (OH) Coffman. I am going to be a junior this year and hope I can contribute to my team.

R.I.: What brought you to Miami's Elite Camp?

WEISENBACH: I was invited by the coaches. I am interested in coming here. It is a good DI school, a good MAC school. I am looking for some more exposure.

R.I.: Tell me about your game?

WEISENBACH: I am a solid in the low post and have a solid sky hook. When I get the ball, I score 80% of the time. I am not too solid on rebounding, but that is getting better. I am gaining weight real fast and putting on muscle mass.

R.I.: Averages last year as a sophomore?

WEISENBACH: 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 minutes a game.

R.I.: Grades?

WEISENBACH: 3.2 G.P.A.

R.I.: Have you taken any visits?

WEISENBACH: Toledo. I will visit Bowling Green and Miami.

Stayed tuned to RedHawk Insider as we follow Eric Weisenbach in the future.
