Matt Rhodes (6'5", 200 lbs) has bombed his way into the radar of MAC schools around the state. The class of 2012 Westerville (OH) North standout in now looking to see which schools will make an offer.

Rhodes' bread and butter is outside shooting. Earlier this summer at the Ohio AAU state championship, while playing for All-Ohio Gold, he made eight treys in one game.

Rhodes said he has been compared to Dirk Norwitzski. Rhodes described his style of play:

"I am a wing forward and midpost. I like to shoot threes and pump fake it to the rim." Rhodes said his weakness is ballhandling and on the ball defense.

Rhodes said he is looking for his first scholarship offer. Three MAC schools (Miami-OH, Toledo, and Akron) are showing interest. Rhodes was in attendance at Miami's Elite Camp in June.

Academically, Rhodes has a 2.6 GPA and said his grades are rising.
