No. Even after recruits commit you have to sweat it out until their letter of intent is signed and delivered. I will say I really like the position the Buckeyes are in right now, but last I heard Baker plans to make a late decision. To say he is a Buckeye lock at this point in his recruitment would be premature at best.
Hilliard is more of a toss up than Baker. I would be shocked if Baker went anywhere other than OSU. Things happen though...recruiting is a marathon not a sprint. If he were to choose today he would be a Buckeye...the good thing for everyone recruiting him he's not committing for awhile.
He looks good to me. Im sure the guy has been wrong before but he was a successful coach and has proven a very good analyst over the last 15 years. HIs word is worth noting, at least. He's watched Hilliard at two camps, I believe. Loves Baker, though. Likes Conner.

As I said earlier - no such thing as a lock with kids these days. Couple theories floating around out there. Some speculate Baker wants to play asap. Whether or not he ends up at linebacker or running back, Baker has a better opportunity to play as a freshman as a Gator. The Buckeyes have recruited both of those positions very well the past three recruiting classes so Baker would probably red shirt his 1st year at OSU. Others say Baker developed a close relationship with Florida coach DJ Durkin. If so it seems a bit short sighted as Muschamp is reportedly on a hot seat and another poor performance this season could see him and his staff looking for new jobs. If that was to happen, then the Buckeyes and their stability could very well get back into the picture. Either way I doubt if Meyer will stop recruiting Baker as long as the Buckeyes have room on their roster. After all, Urban has that devilish reputation to maintain.
The Gators have Alabama roll back on the schedule this year. SC,LSU,ALABAMA,FSU,Georgia...etc...they will be lucky to win 7 games this year.
As far as the "great" weather here...I live along the coast in the Jax beach./st Augustine area...101 with the heat index...yep great weather. I am getting ready to take the kids to the pool because the heat is almost unbearable.
We need to move on and get the hybrid LB'er/Safety from Texas to replace him. We also need to get Ricky Deberry on the horn.
Baker is so valuable because of versatility...can't worry about what you have no control over.
