Taco Should Be On Spartans Menu

Michigan State should be looking at ordering a "TACO" in the Class of 2013. Taco Charlton is working towards being one of the top prospects in Ohio for the 2013 class.

At 6-foot-6, 235-pounds, Taco Charlton is starting to receive notice with several Big Ten programs already sending mail. Only a sophomore, Charlton is starting to open some eyes on the football field from his defensive end position as he has on the hardwood.

A product of Pickerington (Ohio) Central High School, Taco has already seen Notre Dame, Dayton and Bowling Green show interest in basketball. However, with is frame and athletic ability, Taco will soon be finding football programs from across the country taking notice.

The Spartans will have to work hard to get Taco away from the Buckeye state.

While Charlton has not got too excited about football recruiting, he knows there is a chance he could become a player with offers in both basketball and football.

"I have not really thought too much about all of that," Charlton said after his teams win over Oscar Frommel Smith High School. "We'll just have to see what happens as I play more."

For football, Taco has already been receiving mail from several Big Ten programs and MAC schools.
