Looking Back At The Spartan 66 - #44-40

We continue our look back at the Spartan 66 ranked prior to the season. How did players #44-40 stack up?

During the spring and summer, we gave you our Spartan 66 for the 2010 season. We continue looking at how our preseason rankings stood up to the actual season. Here are players #44-40.

#44 – Garrett Celek – Was lost during the second game of the season with an injury after pulling down 2 balls for 17 yards. Will be looked upon to provide leadership and solid play next season.

#43 – Denzel Drone – Third on depth chart at left defensive end. Played in 11 games and started 4 posting 13 total tackles with a sack.

#42 – Ethan Ruhland – Back up to Joel Foreman who will have to continue to fight to find a spot along the offensive line.

#41 – Isaiah Lewis – Showed what everyone was expecting, as he became the back up to Trenton Robinson at Free Safety. Should be expect to fight for the starting job next season or earn another spot on the field. Played in 12 games and started 1 posting 15 total tackles.

#40 – Micajah Reynolds – Was expected to give depth while continuing his development.
