Staten To Hold The Line

Mark Staten has continued to work hard since joining Mark Dantonio in 2004 at the University of Cincinnati. With Dantonio naming Dan Roushar the Spartans new offensive coordinator, Staten will not take over control of the Spartans offensive line duties.

Having spent the past six seasons working side-by-side with Dan Roushar made Mark Dantonio's selection of Mark State an easy one to take over full duties along the offensive line.

Staten, who joined Dantonio's staff in 2004 at the University of Cincinnati, has coached tight ends / tackles and handled the chores of recruiting coordinator the past seven seasons.

"Mark State has worked alongside Dan Roushar for the last six years, so Mark's transition into an expanded role should be a smooth one," Dantonio said.

Prior to joining Dantonio, the Michigan native played at Miami (Ohio) and coached two seasons at Ohio State.
