Spotlight Class of 2011: Juwan Caesar

Spartan fans should be excited about the future of Miami (FL) wide receiver Juwan Caesar. Compare the thoughts of Spartans head coach Mark Dantonio and Spartan Digest.

Juwan Caesar – Wide Receiver

HT: 6-FOOT-4 / WT: 205-POUNDS

As one of the later verbal pledges in the class, Juwan Caesar was a welcomed addition to the class with his overall physical size at the wide receiver position.

Mark Dantonio Says: "Juwan Cesar is a big body wide receiver at 6-4. He had an outstanding senior year and has the ability to make big plays. He runs very well and his size and speed remind me a lot of Michael Jenkins. Juwan is very exciting to watch and has the ability to go up and make the difficult catch. In the future, we look forward to him being in a position to compete for the starting job."

Spartan Digest Says: A perfect fit for the Spartans offense and a position of need with the loss of Mark Dell. As more programs continue looking for the tall size-advantage at the receiver position, players like Cesar will always find a home. The combination of size and speed should place the Miami native in a position to be a starter no later than his second season on campus.
