While several top programs are showing interest, Alden knows he may have to earn his scholarship offer this summer during camp.
"Coach Narduzzi has told me Michigan State is very interested in me and if they do not offer soon, I should come to camp and shown them what I have."
While some may take those words as a lack of interest, Hill knows making a summer trip to East Lansing this summer could prove well worth his time.
"I visited Michigan State during this Junior Day just the other week when they played Purdue in basketball. I was impressed with them and feel the coaches there are honest people. The facilities are impressive as they have a great player's lounge and locker rooms. However, the feeling I got from the coaches is something I'm really looking for in my future college home."
Having spent time talking with several of the Spartan coaches and head coach Mark Dantonio have left a lasting impression on his feelings about the Spartans.
"I get the feeling Michigan State is honest in everything they have told me. They have expressed their interest in me because of my versatility. Coach Narduzzi said my frame and the speed I have for a player of my size, could allow them to look at me as a running back or middle linebacker. I would like to be a running back and the way Michigan State pounds the ball is something I have noticed."
While Hill knows an offer may not happen tomorrow, he also knows having a chance to play for the Big Ten Champions is something you earn in time and not overnight.
