Does the 6-foot-1, 190-pound sophomore have interest in Michigan State?
How has Burrows taken to all the attention?
"I am taking it well and learning to be a leader on this team. I have been watching Freezer (Nicholas Grigsby – Class 2011) and Bam closely and learning from them."
This past season Burrows played a key role in the Rams reaching the state championship game. Despite the fact they came up short of winning the title, Burrows knows it was a great experience.
"It was disappointing to not win state. Now I am like everybody else out there working to get back while staying humble."
When asked to name the strength of his game, Burrows wasted little time in giving an answer.
"I like to lock down anything that comes my way. I feel my strength is my coverage ability. I also feel I need to work more on my hips to be more flexible."
A great talent on the field, also impressive is his work in the classroom.
"Right now I have a 3.9 GPA, which was the highest on the team this year."
If the Spartans can get in early on Burrows, they could become a player during his recruitment. Spartan Digest will continue to follow the young defender in the coming year as he continues his development.
