Dodson Still Remembers

One thing high school prospects usually remember is who offered them first. Because of that, Kyle Dodson holds Michigan State in high regards. Spartan Digest spoke with Dodson about his Spartan offer.

Kyle Dodson has come a long way since receiving his first scholarship offer from Michigan State in December. The Cleveland (Ohio) Heights offensive tackle has since become one of the top prospects in Ohio with many more offers. However, the school that first offered him is the one he remembers fondly.

"Michigan State was a great first offer and really hit home with me. It was my first unofficial visit and I got the offer when I went up to watch a bowl practice."

While the trip to the Michigan State campus was a few months ago, Dodson still remembers much of what he liked about the Spartans.

"I feel Michigan State is an excellent program rising in the Big Ten. They also have a great criminal justice program and great coaches."

While Dodson knows about the academic side of MSU, football wise, he was also impressed with the Spartans facilities.

"I liked the weight room and how it was set up and the indoor facility and trainers room was great. They also have a great players lounge."

As for any future visits, Kyle is looking to make a few visits but not sure where he may go.

Spartan Digest will continue to stay in contact with Kyle and his interest in Michigan State.
