Ohio Defensive End A Sleeper For 2012 Class

Each year players from across the country look to earn scholarships to college. When you find a sleeper in the bunch, things can get exciting. Here is a sleeper many college programs will be forced to look at for the Class of 2012.

Sunday might prove to be a coming out party for De-Vonne Bingham of West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West High School.

At 6-foot-7, 222-pounds, De-Vonne proved during the MSR Ohio Combine in Fairborn, Ohio to be a prospect going under the radar.

However, after posting some solid numbers on the day, Bingham will only need to continue to show development in camps and early this fall to have college programs fighting for his services.

During the combine, Bingham showed his explosiveness by posting a 38.2 vertical jump and broad jump of 10'9. Bingham also showed well in the timed combine events posting a 4.8 forty, 4.6 Pro-Shuttle, and 7.44 L-Cone.

De-Vonne will be an interesting prospect to watch during the next few months. At this time he projects as a possible defensive end.

Will Michigan State take a hard look at De-Vonne?

It would not surprise me one bit.
