DePietro Looking To Learn More

Now holding an offer from Michigan State, Adam DePietro is looking to learn more about the Spartans. When will DePietro visit East Lansing and more are learned in this interview.

Early in the month Adam DePietro of Lancaster (PA) Catholic High School picked up an offer from the Michigan State Spartans. How much does the 6-foot-4, 275-pound DePietro know about the Big Ten Champions?

"I do not know a whole lot about the Michigan State program other than the recent success they have had. Michigan State looks like a top of the line program and I am very interested in getting out there and learning what they are all about."

Spartans quarterback coach Dave Warner is Adam's primary recruiter and the two seem to be getting off to a good start.

"We have not been talking very long, maybe two or three weeks. But he is a great guy and I get along with Coach Warner very well and look forward to continuing build a relationship with him and getting to know some of the other Michigan State coaches."

With teams from the Big Ten and Big East already on his offer sheet, does Adam feel conference play may come into his decision process?

"I not sure right now about that, but you cannot beat Big Ten Football as it has great competition and the conference looks like it is headed in the right direction with the changes they have made."

As for when Adam may look to make a visit to campus and make his college decision known.

"I am trying to visit Michigan State as soon as possible. Right now it looks like I will get up there sometime this summer. I would like to get my recruiting done this summer. However, it really depends on how everything goes. But I would like to make it sometime in the middle to late summer."

As for his game on the field, Adam knows there are some areas to improve upon but also some strength.

"I feel the best part of my game is my overall athleticism and the fact I play with a mean streak. I also feel I have good feet and technique. I do need to continue getting stronger and more powerful."
