After holding their annual pre Spring Game Draft, the White team has now been built. Here is a breakdown of what fans will see on Saturday in Spartan Stadium.
White head coach Mark Staten will look to lead his team to victory along with assistant coaches Mike Tressel, Dave Warner
, Terrence Samuel
and Ted Gill. What type of team did the senior members of the White squad draft? We take a quick look on both sides of the field and special teams.
Quarterback Andrew Maxwell will have a solid receiving core to throw to as B.J. Cunningham, Keshawn Martin are the headliners joined by Donald Spencer, Keith Mumphery and Milton Colbert. Maxwell will also have tight end Garrett Celek, Andrew Gleichert and Derek Hoebing as pass targets.
The running game will be handled by power back Le'Veon Bell and speed back Nick Hill. The duo will be joined by Jeremy Langford as well as fullbacks Chris Hessell and Adam Setterbo.
The offensive line consist of Arthur Ray Jr., Jared McGaha, John Deyo, Michael Dennis, Travis Jackson and Chris McDonald.
The White got their man with their first pick in Jerel Worthy and looked to build a solid group around him by adding Taylor Calero, Blake Pacheco, Jordan Sanders, Marcus Rush and Denzel Drone to man the front four spots.
At linebacker Max Bullough will be joined by Kyler Elsworth, Ty Hamilton and Steve Gardiner.
In the secondary Isaiah Lewis, Dana Dixon, Kurtis Drummond, Darqueze Dennard and Mitchell White will look to provide coverage against the Green receivers.
White Special Teams
Handling the kicking chores will be Kevin Muma who is joined by punter Mike Sadler.
Missing The Action
The White team has some big hits missing the game as Joel Foreman, Skyler Schofner, Nate Klatt, Antonio Jeremiah, David Barrent and Henry Conway will watch from the sidelines.
