Meador Hoping to Hear More from Spartans

One prospect hoping to hear more from Michigan State is offensive lineman Jake Meador. Spartan Digest spoke with Meador about his interest in the Spartans.

Last summer found Jake Meador looking to open some eyes in the recruiting process. Since t hen, several schools have given the 6-foot-6, 300-pound native of Whiteland, Indiana offers. They include Louisville, Kentucky, Northern Illinois, Indiana and Mississippi.

‘I attend camp at Michigan State last summer," Meador told Spartan Digest. "They wanted me to make my way up to campus but I have not been able to do that yet."

While some players may get worried about the recruiting process, Jake has seen firsthand how things can work as his older brother Mitch went through the process just a few years ago.

As for what Jake expects out of the Spartans, he knows there is a solid chance they will be making an in-school visit.

"I expect Michigan State to make their way to my school soon."

While the Spartans have not offered yet, other programs may soon be looking at getting on board as Wisconsin and Notre Dame are showing some interest.

With two offensive linemen already in the fold and the need for at least two more in the class, Jake Meador is a name to keep an eye on.
