Croley to Camp at MSU

Ohio linebacker Jhalil Croley is a name not talked about much when it comes to Michigan State. However, that soon could change and Spartan Digest has the latest.

Tuesday night found Jhalil Croley of Cincinnati (Ohio) Princeton High School watching other teammates during a local college football camp. Spartan Digest caught up with the 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker to get the latest.

"Several of my teammates and I will be at Michigan State on Thursday for camp. I look forward to seeing what they are all about and if they have interest."

Croley holds several offers from Mid-American Conference teams and the only BCS offer comes from Pittsburgh.

What will Croley have to show the Spartans coaching staff in hopes of earning an offer?

From this past weekend two other players at the same position, Mason Monheim and Luke Roberts showed well. The Spartans are not in dire need of a middle backer in this class, and if Croley can show he could project inside and outside, his chances of earning an offer will increase.
