We look at 66 Spartans as 1966 was the last time MSU won a National Championship. It is now time to look at the #53 ranked Spartan in 2011.

Chris D. Rucker

Position: Wide Receiver

Experience : 5-th Year Senior

Strengths : Veteran player.

Weakness : Never found a position that stuck.

Mr Spring is the nickname Chris Rucker may leave East Lansing with after another fine performance in the Green & White game. A year ago he moved from wide receiver to cornerback, now he's back at receiver for his final year in the program.

Overall : Chris D. Rucker just never found a home since arriving at Michigan State. While he's earned two letters, he's yet to make an on the field impact and is now stuck behind a stellar group of receivers for him final year at MSU.

Why He Made The List : After not seeing game action a year ago, you have to expect Rucker to find his way to the field in his final season. Look for special teams work with some spot play early in non Big Ten games.
