Spartan 66 2011 Ranking #39

The Michigan State Spartans won a share of the Big Ten title in 2010. Last year, SpartanDigest.com looked in-depth at sixty-six Spartans and their importance to the team's success. We look at 66 Spartans as 1966 was the last time MSU won a National Championship. It is now time to look at the #39 ranked Spartan in 2011.

Nate Klatt

SD 2011 Ranking : #39

Position: Offensive Guard/Center

Experience : Redshirt Sophomore

Strengths : Great physical size at 6-foot-4, 290-pounds.

Weakness : Lack of game experience having only seen action in two games last season.

Overall : Klatt will be looking to earn more reps and is fighting at left guard and center in his third year in the program. Has the physical tools but must continue to develop at the college level after an impressive high school career.

Why They Made The List : The Spartans offensive line has questions entering the season. The continued development of Klatt is important for this season and the next two as well. Expect the Ohio native to earn more reps as he continues to fight up the depth chart.
