Spartans Land #15 in 2012 Class

Despite talk early Thursday, Ezra Robinson did not contact Michigan State and head coach Mark Dantonio until around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday evening giving the Spartans the newest member of the Class of 2012.

Ezra Robinson, of Sarasota (Fla.) Booker High School is a player Dantonio and Spartans defensive back coach Harlon Barnett worked hard on getting into the fold during the defensive backs official visit against Wisconsin.

The commitment gives the Spartans a player at a position they wanted to fill in the class at it continues to fill out.

A three-star corner, Robinson stands 6-foot, 170-pounds and was considered one of the top performers at the MVP Camp held in Orlando this past spring.

Other programs who were in the hunt included Georgia Tech, South Florida, West Virginia, and Illinois to name a few.
