Gall Talks Playoff Win & More

Spartan Digest caught up with Ohio 2013 offensive lineman Alex Gall following his teams big playoff win.

Saturday night found Alex Gall and his Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller teammates reaching another goal with their win over Middletown (Ohio) High School in the second round of the Ohio High School playoffs.

The win moves the Crusaders to the Division I, Region Four final next Saturday night against Greater Catholic League rival St. Xavier. How did it feel to get the win over a tough Middies squad?

"It was great," said Gall. "We expected to come out and do what we do, and did it against a great team in Middletown and got the victory."

With the victory comes Week 13 of the season, did Gall prefer one team over the other next week?

"I'm fine with either one," said Gall. "We've played them both in the past and we're ready to play them again."

Moeller, who won the GCL South this season, defeated St. Xavier in September 27-24 and Gall knows the Bombers will be tough. However, he also feels this Moeller team has what it takes having played a tough schedule this fall.

"We're back and ready to go," Gall continued. "We'll keep winning until we don't want to win and we want to win out."

As for recruiting, Gall has the following to report.

"Nothing really new is going on," said Gall. "Other than the normal letters, calls and emails I'm getting from several schools."

One of those schools is Michigan State and the Spartans will be looking at Gall and a couple of his teammates for the Class of 2013.
