Monday night the Big Ten Conference announced their annual post season awards. Michigan State was well represented in both the coaches and media selections. Leading the way was Jerel Worthy and Joel Foreman.

for the right to go to the Rose Bowl. On Monday, several Spartans learned they had earned all-conference selection for the coaches and/or the media.
Big Ten coaches placed three Spartans on their first team as offensive guard Joel Foreman was the lone Spartan on the offensive side of the ball.
Jerel Worthy was joined by Johnny Adams earning first team coaches honors to their seasons on the defensive side of the ball.
Spartans earning second team honors included quarterback Kirk Cousins, wide receiver B.J. Cunningham, tight end Brian Linthicum, linebacker Max Bullough, defensive back Isaiah Lewis, and defensive end William Gholston.
Big Ten coaches gave honorable mention honors to linebacker Denicos Allen, running back Le'Veon Bell, wide receiver Keshawn Martin, defensive end Marcus Rush, and safety Trenton Robinson.
Senior captain Kirk Cousins also earned Big Ten Sportsmanship honors.
The media took a little bit of a different approach when it came to the Spartans.
Foreman and Worthy were joined by Robinson with first team media honors while Cunningham, Gholston, Allen, Adams, and Lewis each earned second team conference honors from the members of the media.
Bell, Bullough, Dan Conroy, Darqueze Dennard, Chris McDonald, Chris Norman, Kevin Pickelman, Cousins, Linthicum, and Rush were named honorable mentions.
