Arnett Coming Back Home?

After saying no to Michigan State a year ago, DeAnthony Arnett could be looking at becoming a Spartan in the very near future.

It was no secret Michigan State wanted Saginaw, Michigan wide receiver DeAnthony Arnett in the class of 2011.

However, after working hard to earn the four-star prospects verbal pledge, Arnett left his home state for Tennessee.

The chances the Spartans could see another former instate star return to wear the Green & White are high after Arnett has reportedly informed Tennessee coaches of his intentions to leave the Vols program for personal family reasons (fathers health).

Arnett posted 24 catches for 242 yards and two touchdowns as a true freshman at Tennessee this past season.

It is believed Arnett will look to the NCAA for a personal hardship waiver allowing him to play during the 2012 season.

At this time the Spartans along with Michigan and Notre Dame look to be the three programs the 6-foot, 185-pound Arnett could focus on.

Spartan Digest will have more to come on this developing story.
