Outback Bowl Game Balls Offense

Michigan State provided fans with another thrilling victory as Mark Dantonio earns his first bowl victory as head coach. Who earned game balls on offense for their efforts against Georgia?

The following Michigan State Spartans earned offensive game balls from Spartan Digest for their play against Georgia in the Spartans 33-30 three overtime thriller.

Brian Linthicum: The senior tight end posted 115 yards on seven catches on the day and gave the Spartans some of their biggest plays of the game.

Kirk Cousins: Yes there were three interceptions, however, Cousins delivered when it was needed most after the offense went 3-an-out their first seven drives of the game. On the day Cousins was 27-of-50 for 300 yards and one touchdown.

Keith Nichol: Another senior who catch the only touchdown pass thrown by Cousins during the game. He ended with four catches for 53 yards and leaves Michigan State with some key catches after making the move from quarterback to wide receiver.

LeVeon Bell: It was tough sledding for Bell and the Spartans running game, however, he did score two touchdowns and it was his run and the efforts of the offensive line on the run that seemed to give the team a little bit of a spark.

Offensive Line: After a hard first half the Spartans offensive line never gave up and helped power the team back into the game and to victory. There is worked needed for next year, however, the over achieving group has done enough to keep MSU in games all season despite injuries and lack of depth.
