SD Quick Take: MacGarrett Kings

We take a quick look at Florida native and Michigan State wide receiver pledge MacGarrett Kings.

With the loss of one of their top playmaker from the 2011 team, Michigan State was looking for and found MacGarrett Kings, a speedy and talented athlete from Fort Lauderdale (FL) University School of Nova Sout.

Florida speed always seems to be faster than other regions of the country and Kings looks to have plenty. The ability to make big-time plays will be a major question when the Spartans open the season and Kings could hold the answers. Being able to get his pledge and hold on until signing day was a great accomplishment for the MSU staff.

A high school running back who is use to getting the ball put in his hands instead of working himself open in an offense will be the biggest question for Kings to answer when he gets on campus.

With potential to be a major playmaker, Kings will get an early chance to show his talents in East Lansing. If he can answer the call he'll be a major weapon the Spartans will need as they look to earn another trip to the Big Ten Championship Game.
