All Spartan: Aaron Burbridge

Spartan Digest continues looking at the newest Michigan State Spartans with this look at the top prospect in the state of Michigan, Aaron Burbridge.

For the third consecutive year Mark Dantonio and the Michigan State Spartans have earned the pledge of the top prospect in the state of Michigan.

Aaron Burbridge
Farmington Hills (MI) Harrison HS
6-1 / 190 lbs. Ranking: Wide Receiver #26 overall

Fellow incoming wide receivers: Monty Madaris, Kyle Kerrick, MacGarrett Kings

Allen Trieu on Burbridge: He established himself as the best player in the state, and I think he's underappreciated nationally because he didn't go to any national camps or play in any All-Star games. That said, he has rare body control, ball skills and overall athleticism and explosiveness. He could easily see the field as a true freshman and follow along in the line of great Spartan receivers that has preceded him.

Mark Dantonio on Burbridge: "Aaron has big-play ability in every aspect of his game. He's an extremely talented wide receiver, and has also played some tailback and cornerback; he could've been recruited in those positions as well. We will use him as a wide receiver. He's a big-bodied wide receiver with outstanding speed that has great running after the catch ability. He comes from one of the top programs in the state of Michigan out of Harrison High School. We saw Aaron in play in 2011, and he's expected to contribute immediately."
