Gall, a 6-foot-5, 295-pound offensive lineman from the Southwest Ohio program visited Michigan State in February and liked what he saw enough to still be thinking about the Spartans.
"I've had a little bit of contact with Michigan State," said Gall. "I might try and make it up to spring practice but I'm not sure. Right now it just seems like the numbers are not good for me as they see me as a guard and they have a lot of guards.
"They are still in my thoughts so I'll have to see what their numbers are like and what they plan to do with me."
One reason for the continued interest is Gall's recent visit.
"I really liked it when I visited," said Gall. "But I would like to go somewhere that I wouldn't have to wait until I'm a senior to play. I don't want to wait all that time as I would like to get some early playing time. However, that is not going to be the determining factor as I understand a lot of guys have to wait and sometimes that is just what has to happen.
"So we're going to have to see what their thoughts are and if they see me there and see me as a guy that maybe could play over some other people. So right now it's kind of a waiting game and I'll have to just wait and see what happens."
