Snodgrass Updates Spartans Visit

Michigan State hosted 2014 wide receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass this past Saturday during the annual Green-White game. We check in with Snodgrass to learn how his visit went.

Making an early impression is always talked about as being a positive during the recruiting wars of college football.

One player who came away with solid thoughts about Michigan State was Springfield (OH) 2014 wide receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass.

"My trip to Michigan State was fun," said Snodgrass about his spring game visit. "I've never been to anything like that before."

While there the Spartans made sure to let the young wide receiver know they want to see more of him.

"I spoke with Coach (Harlon) Barnett who introduced me to Coach (Mark) Dantonio. I also got to meet Devin Thomas who played for the New York Giants this past season and talk with R.J. Williamson who is from the area.

"The coaches invited me up to their senior camp on June 16th and I'll definitely be looking to attend their camp this summer."

While Snodgrass is a future college offensive player he came away impressed by the Spartans defense.

"I found the game to be intense and I was very impressed with how they were flying around on defense," explained Snodgrass.

While impressed with what he saw on the field, it was off the field where Snodgrass enjoyed looking around.

"I was able to look around the campus a little bit," said Snodgrass. "I liked what I saw and really liked the football facilities and the area they have all their football championships in. I also couldn't believe how big their weight room was."

While Snodgrass will look to make a return visit in mid-June, he's already got two more camps planed out early.

"I've got the Nike Football Camp next weekend," he said. I'll probably also go down to West Virginia on June 6th for their camp as well.
