Team USA trounces Select team

The USA Junior World Championship team used a huge rebounding edge and a couple of huge runs to outlast the Global Games Select team 97-77 on Tuesday night.

Spartan center Paul Davis scored 11 points, including going 7-for-7 from the free-throw line. Davis also yanked down eight rebounds in 18 minutes of play. MSU guard Maurice Ager also had a nice night, going for eight points and two blocks in 16 minutes of action. In the first two games of the 2003 Global Games Davis is second in scoring with 11 points per game, and is pulling down a team-high 8.5 rebounds per game. Ager is third on the team in scoring with 8.5 points per game. The team will take on Africa (1-1)tonight.
