"Since the first time I was up there for a Junior Day, I just got a good feel for it," said Harris. "I loved the campus and I was able to build a great relationship with the coaching staff. I just knew it was the right decision."
How did Harris get word to the Spartans about his readiness to commit?
"I called (assistant) coach (Dave) Warner and he told me to call coach (Mark) Dantonio and inform him of my decision," said Harris. "I called coach Dantonio and he was happy to have me and has big expectations for me. He's glad I'm a Spartan."
Where do the Spartans expect Harris to fulfill those expectations?
"They have me playing wide receiver," said Harris. "They want me to be the "Z" wide receiver and also do punt return and kick return."
What other programs were under consideration by Harris?
"They have one of the top notch educational programs in the nation. I'm going to school for business and they have a great business program so I felt this will help me outside of football and my future."
What would Harris tell Spartans fans about himself?
"I would tell them they are going to get hard working receiver who can also play in the backfield," said Harris. "I have speed and agility and can make plays after the catch."
