Burbridge Ready For Next Chapter

In the next couple of weeks Michigan State should see star recruit Aaron Burbridge make his way to campus. SpartanDigest.com caught up with the talented wide receiver for the latest.

There is no mistaking the talents of Aaron Burbridge on the football field. While others may have taken a wait and see approach with the 6-foot-1, 190-pound receiver, Michigan State never wavered in their interest or desire to sign him on national signing day.

That persistence paid off when Burbridge gave his verbal pledge and signed his letter of intent back in February.

With some final school work left to finish, Burbridge gave a quick update on how his summer is going.

"I'm doing good," said Burbridge. "Things are going real good right now. I'm taking a summer class right now that will be over on August 1-st and then I'll be on campus."

While unsure of who will be his future roommate when he arrives on campus, Burbridge sounded ready to prove any doubters wrong about his talents.

"I can't wait to get to Michigan State and show the world what I can do," said Burbridge. "I'm real excited but can't believe how fast time has gone by as it still hasn't hit me that I'll be up there in a couple of weeks."

While Burbridge will report close to the start of camp, he feels he'll be ready.

"I'm just working out and running routes trying to stay in shape," said Burbridge.
