Bere Enjoyed Michigan State Visit

One of the many high school prospects to visit Michigan State this past weekend was Cincinnati (Ohio) Sycamore 2014 linebacker Tinashe Bere. We caught up with Bere to discuss his visit.

With an early offer already on the table from Illinois, Cincinnati (Ohio) Sycamore linebacker Tinashe Bere checked out another Big Ten program this past Saturday.

"I went up to Michigan State for their game," said Bere. "The trip was pretty good and everything up there was very nice. I loved it up there."

With Spartans defensive backs coach Harlon Barnett leading his recruitment, Bere knows what he needs to do going forward.

"I spoke with (assistant) coach (Harlon) Barnett," said Bere. "He said to keep in touch with him and to keep on improving each week."

Bere will have a great chance to show college coaches where his game is at this coming weekend as Sycamore will take a perfect 4-0 record into a conference battle with 4-0 Colerain.

While this week's big game is in front of him, Bere was still beaming about his Michigan State visit.

"The campus, campus life along with the stadium and the entire atmosphere surrounding everything was great," said Bere. "I feel the facilities are very nice and I like how the players don't have to go all over the place as everything they need is right together.

"I am guessing right now that I'm going to camp up there next summer and not sure if I'll make another trip up there this season."
