Spartans Tight End Success Interest Wolf

The success Mark Dantonio has had over the years at the tight end position has caught the eye of one of Ohio's top 2014 prospects.

While Michigan State is still working to finish out the 2013 recruiting class work has also begun on 2014 and one prospect hearing from the Spartans is Minster (Ohio) tight end Ethan Wolf.

"Quite a few coaches have been visiting the school and talking with my coach," said Wolf. "I know (assistant) coach (Mike) Tressel stopped in and I try and keep up with him on Facebook."

Having visited the Spartans this past season allowed Wolf to learn more about the program and the success seen by current and previous tight ends.

"I know Michigan State likes to use the tight end in their offense," said Wolf. "Dion Sims is like in the top five tight ends in NFL draft projections and they do a lot of good things up there with their tight ends.

"Sims is a beast and when I visited up there we went in the weight room and they have their top measurable guys on the wall. Sims was up there benching like 460-pounds or something like that."
