Bowl Preview: TCU Secondary

What will Michigan State's offense see when they line up against TCU in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl? We now look at the final phase of the Horned Frogs defense looking at what might be their biggest strength, the play of their secondary.

While the TCU defense has for the most part been solid during the 2012 season many would point out the play of their secondary as being their biggest strength. This group has combined for some great stats this past season and will prove a major test for the Spartans offense.

Elisha Olabode led the group with 66 total tackles and four interceptions but was soon followed by Sam Carter (62 tackles / 3 sacks / 4 Int), Chris Hackett (54 tackles / 2 Int) and Jason Verrett (51 tackles / 6 Int).

Not far behind the foursome was Kevin White who posted 36 tackles and one interception.

While Olabode was the leader in tackles many feel it was Verrett who played the best out of the group.
