At The Half – Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl

We look at the good, bad and ugly in Michigan State's attempts to win their seventh game of the season against TCU in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.

Michigan State left the field at half behind TCU 13-0 and lucky for the score to be that close.

Here is our look at the good, bad and ugly that was the Spartans first half.

The fact Michigan State is only down 13-points is as good as it got during the first half. This game could have been a major blowout as the Spartans were lucky the Horned Frogs didn't pull down a couple of interceptions they had in their hands. All the credit goes to Pat Narduzzi's defense as they are again on the field more than they should be.

One of the keys going into the game was getting Le'Veon Bell into the flow of the offense early. That has not happened and is a major reason the Spartans remain scoreless and without any threat of putting points on the board.

The lack of offense has not gone away after the long break from the end of the season. What does Michigan State need to do in getting something going? Right now it is hard to say as receivers continue to drop passes and the lack of a solid offensive game plan is clearly showing why this team has struggled scoring points.
